Selection Process

  • Step 2 : Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT) - Candidates appear for a 2-hour objective-type CBT (bi-lingual in Hindi and English) consisting of two sections: Section-I (100 questions on Professional Knowledge) and Section-II (50 questions on General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English).

  • Step 3 : Written Test Minimum Qualifying Marks - Candidates must secure the required minimum marks in each section to qualify: General (UR)/EWS candidates need a minimum of 50% in each section, while SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates need a minimum of 45% in each section (there is no negative marking).

  • Step 4 : Shortlisting for Skill Test - Qualified candidates from the CBT are shortlisted in order of merit in a 1:5 ratio (5 candidates against each post) for the next stage.

  • Step 5 : Skill Test (Trade Test / Computer Proficiency Test) - Shortlisted candidates undergo a practical skill or proficiency test which is strictly qualifying in nature; failing this test eliminates the candidate regardless of their written exam score.

  • Step 6 : Document Verification - Candidates who pass the Skill Test undergo a thorough verification of original certificates and documents regarding age, qualifications, work experience, and category before final selection.

  • Step 7 : Pre-Employment Medical Examination - Provisionally selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness examination prescribed by the company to ensure they are fit for the assigned post.

  • Step 8 : Character, Antecedents, and Final Offer - Final appointment is subject to the successful verification of character, antecedents, and experience from concerned authorities, followed by the issuance of an offer for a 1-year training period.
