Educational Qualification & Experience

• Senior Assistant (Civil)

  • Educational Qualification :

    • Essential : Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

    • Desirable : Knowledge of foreign languages other than English.

  • Experience : Essential for diploma holders only—1 year of experience in the construction and maintenance of permanent structures in Civil Engineering in Government, Public Sector, or reputed Private Sector organizations, preferably in the field of exhibitions.

• Senior Assistant (Electrical)

  • Educational Qualification :

    • Essential : Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

    • Desirable : Knowledge of foreign languages other than English.

  • Experience : Essential for diploma holders only—1 year of experience in the construction and maintenance of permanent structures in Electrical Engineering in Government, Public Sector, or reputed Private Sector organizations, preferably in the field of exhibitions.

• Senior Assistant (Architecture)

  • Educational Qualification :

    • Essential : Degree or Diploma in Architecture from a recognized University/Institution.

    • Desirable : Knowledge of foreign languages other than English.

  • Experience : Essential for diploma holders only—1 year of experience in Architecture in Government, Public Sector, or reputed Private Sector organizations, preferably in the field of exhibitions.

• Assistant (Accounts)

  • Educational Qualification :

    • Essential : B.Com. (2nd Division) and working knowledge of computer applications.

  • Experience : Essential—2 years of experience in Finance/Accounts in Government, Public Sector, or reputed Private Sector Organizations (Note: Preference will be given for experience in Government/PSUs).

• Junior Stenographer

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Essential : Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University and a shorthand/typing speed of 80/40 words per minute.

  • Experience : Desirable—Experience as a Steno-typist in reputed organizations.

• Junior Assistant (General Cadre)

  • Educational Qualification :

    • Essential : Bachelor's Degree (at least with 2nd Division).

    • Typing Speed : 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computers.

    • Proficiency : Must be proficient in the use of a variety of computer office applications like M.S. Word, Excel, Power-Point, or equivalent.   

  • Experience : Essential—2 years of post-qualification experience in dealing with files/data entry in Government, PSU, or reputed private sector organizations.

• Category/Caste Certificates : Upload a self-attested copy of your caste or category certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwBD) if applicable.

• Exam Score/Mark Sheet : Upload the score card, mark sheet, or qualifying cut-off marks proof from the respective SSC or GATE exam as specified for your post.

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) : Upload a self-attested copy of the NOC from your present employer if you are working regularly in a Central/State Government or Autonomous Organization.

• Experience Certificate : Upload self-attested copies of your chronological work experience certificates as per the recruitment rules.

Selection Process

• Basic Eligibility Screening : Screening and eligibility of candidates will be based on the details provided in their online applications.

• Document Verification Shortlisting : Provisionally eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for document verification, with notices published on the ITPO website and call letters sent via email.

• Merit List Preparation (Non-Architectural Posts) : For Senior Assistant (Civil), Senior Assistant (Electrical), Assistant (Accounts), Junior Stenographer, and Junior Assistant (General Cadre), the final merit list will be prepared based on fulfilling the requisite experience criteria and the consolidated marks/rank secured in the respective SSC examinations (Junior Engineer Examination-2024, CGL Examination-2024, or Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination-2024).

• Merit List Preparation (Senior Assistant - Architecture) : For the Senior Assistant (Architecture) post, the merit list will be prepared based on fulfilling the required experience criteria and the marks/score secured in the GATE examination for Architecture and Planning (for any of the years 2024, 2025, or 2026).

• Final Selection & Background Check : Final selection remains provisional and is subject to the verification of original documents regarding eligibility, character, antecedents, medical standards, and other applicable ITPO rules.
