Eligibility Details

• Computer Operator Grade-A : Graduation degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification, plus a Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized institute or 'O' Level certificate from NIELIT, alongside 3 years of experience in the field of computer applications.

• Assistant Computer Operator : Graduation degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification, plus a Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized institute or 'O' Level certificate from NIELIT, alongside 2 years of experience in the field of computer applications.

• Prerequisite : Must have appeared for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and possess a valid score card.

• Preferred Qualifications (Adhimani Arhta)

  • Minimum 2 years of service in the Territorial Army.

  • Possession of a National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'B' certificate.

How to Apply?

• Step 1 : Verify PET-2025 Score : Ensure you have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and possess a valid score card with a non-zero/non-negative score.  
• Step 2 : Access Official Website : Go to the official Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) website at upsssc.gov.in.  
• Step 3 : Open Live Advertisement : Navigate to the Homepage, click on the Live Advertisement Segment, and select the notification for the Advocate General Office Computer Cadre Mains Examination.
• Step 4 : Authenticate with PET Details : Log in using your PET-2025 registration number and verify your identity via the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or email.
• Step 5 : Select Post & Fill Details : Choose the desired post (Computer Operator Grade-A or Assistant Computer Operator), verify your pre-filled personal details, and input your educational and technical qualification data.
• Step 6 : Review and Submit Application : Carefully review all entered entries, fill in the verification code, and click the Submit button to generate your 11-digit registration number.
• Step 7 : Pay Application Fee : Pay the mandatory online processing fee of ₹25 through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI E-Challan.
• Step 8 : Reconcile and Verify Transaction : If the application form does not display after payment, use the Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification option on the homepage to reconcile your fee.
• Step 9 : Download and Print Form : Download, save, and print a hard copy of your final submitted application form and fee acknowledgment receipt for future document verification.
• Step 10 : Modify Application (If Needed) : Use the Applicant's Dashboard with your PET registration number and OTP to make permitted edits to your address, personal category, or qualifications by the modification deadline of October 5, 2026.

Selection Process

• Step 1 : Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 Score Qualification — Candidates must have appeared in the PET-2025 exam and possess a valid score card to be eligible to apply.

• Step 2 : Online Application Submission — Eligible candidates must apply online through the official UPSSSC website (upsssc.gov.in) by September 28, 2026, and complete fee adjustments by October 5, 2026.

• Step 3 : Shortlisting for Mains Examination — Candidates are shortlisted for the main examination based on their normalized PET-2025 scores, restricted to 15 times the number of vacancies category-wise.

• Step 4 : Written Examination Fee Payment — Shortlisted candidates must pay the prescribed examination fee separately prior to downloading their main examination admit cards.

• Step 5 : Written Examination — Selection is primarily based on a written examination conducted as per the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission rules.

• Step 6 : Document Verification and Post Preference — Final selection involves document verification where candidates provide post preferences and submit required self-attested certificates and application printouts.
