How to Apply?

  • Visit Portal: Go to the official MPESB website at www.esb.mp.gov.in.  

  • Access Application: Navigate to the online application section for the Group-2 Sub Group-4 Combined Recruitment Test 2026.  

  • Register/Login: Complete your profile registration or log in using your credentials, ensuring your Aadhaar registration is active.  

  • Fill Form: Fill out the application form with your personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred district/post priorities.  

  • Upload Documents: Upload required documents, photograph, and signature as per the guidelines.

  • Pay Fee: Pay the applicable application fee online along with the designated portal fee (via Kiosk or Registered Citizen User).  

  • Submit & Print: Submit the final application form and take a printout of the application form number for future admit card downloads and selection processes. 

Selection Process

  • Online Written Examination: Candidates must appear for a computer-based single question paper test carrying a total of 200 marks, which evaluates subjects including General Science, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Knowledge & Aptitude, General Computer Knowledge, General Logical Reasoning, and General Management.  

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40% qualifying marks (50% for unreserved categories, with a 10% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Divyang candidates) to be included in the merit list.  

  • District Preference & Merit-Based Allocation: During the online application stage, candidates must submit their order of preference for districts, and the board prepares a merit list based on scores and district options to allocate districts for specific district-level posts like Patwari and Panchayat Coordination Officer.  

  • Document Verification & Counseling: The respective district-level committees and department heads verify original educational, technical, category, and domicile certificates during the single-stage counseling process.  

  • Final Appointment: Following successful document verification and medical fitness examinations, the competent authority or district collector issues final appointment and posting orders.
