If the resulting age exceeds the maximum limit of 42 years by 3 years or less (45 years or under), they fully meet the eligibility criteria. Additionally, registration with any District Soldier's Welfare and Rehabilitation Office in Uttarakhand exempts them from needing a local employment exchange registration. Those already employed in Uttarakhand State Government Group 'C' or 'D' services can utilize this age relaxation for higher-level posts, though they will not claim fresh reservation benefits.
Note
While you get the age relaxation benefit for applying, you will not be counted twice for fresh Ex-Serviceman reservation quotas if you are already utilizing state government job benefits. (Dependents of Ex-Servicemen do not get reservation or age relaxation benefits)
