How to Apply?

• Step 1: Check Eligibility & Registration — Ensure you meet the educational and PET-2025 requirements before starting.

• Step 2: Visit Official Website — Go to the UPSSSC official website at upsssc.gov.in.

• Step 3: Access Live Advertisement — Navigate to the 'Live Advertisement Segment' on the homepage and click on the Sugarcane Supervisor examination link.

• Step 4: Applicant Authentication/Login — Log in using your PET-2025 registration number and verify via the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.

• Step 5: Fill Required Details — Complete your personal details (auto-fetched from PET) and fill in your mandatory educational qualification details.

• Step 6: Submit and Generate Registration Number — Enter the verification code and click submit to generate your 11-digit registration number.

• Step 7: Review Photos and Signatures — Verify your pre-loaded photo and signature from PET-2025 and proceed to the next page.

• Step 8: Enter Preferences and Other Details — Select post preferences, check pre-filled address details, and accept the declaration checkboxes.

• Step 9: Pay Examination Fee — Pay the required application and processing fee online via credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI, or SBI e-Chalan.

• Step 10: Reconcile Transaction (If Needed) — If the fee status is pending or the form does not display, use "Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification" on the homepage.

• Step 11: Complete Fee Reconciliation — Ensure fee reconciliation and final submission are completed by the deadline of July 28, 2026.

• Step 12: Download and Print Application Form — Download and save a printout of the final submitted application form for future verification.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting Based on PET-2025 Score

• Preliminary Eligibility : Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and were issued a score card are eligible to apply.

• Shortlisting Criteria : Candidates for the main examination are shortlisted based on their normalized scores in PET-2025.

• Cut-Off and Multiplier : Category-wise, approximately 15 times the number of advertised vacancies are shortlisted up to the last cut-off mark (including all candidates securing that same normalized score).

• Disqualification : Candidates with a zero, negative, or less than zero absolute/normalized score in PET-2025 are not eligible for shortlisting.

2. Main Written Examination Structure

The selection is primarily based on a competitive written examination.

• Total Questions & Marks : 100 objective-type, multiple-choice questions for a total of 100 marks.

• Duration : 2 hours (120 minutes).

• Negative Marking : There is a penalty for wrong answers, with 25% (i.e., 0.25 marks) deducted for each incorrect answer.

• Exam Syllabus Breakdown :

  • Part 1 (Agriculture & Allied Sciences - 60 Marks) : Crop Science (25 marks), Biotechnology, Plant Breeding & Crop Physiology (10 marks), Soil and Water Conservation (15 marks), Agriculture Extension (5 marks), Agriculture Economics & Schemes (5 marks), and Dairy & Animal Husbandry (5 marks).

  • Part 2 (Computer & IT - 15 Marks) : Concepts of computer, IT, internet, hardware/software, operating systems, digital tools, cyber security, and contemporary tech developments like AI and IoT.

  • Part 3 (Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge - 20 Marks) : History, culture, art, architecture, geography, economy, agriculture, administration, and current events related to the state of Uttar Pradesh.

3. Final Selection & Merit

• Merit List : Final selection and recommendations are made strictly in order of merit based on the candidates' performance in the Main Written Examination.

• Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates must present their original educational certificates, category proofs, and required documents (such as PET scorecard, computer CCC certificate, and agricultural graduation degree) during the verification stage.
