How to Apply

• Visit the Official Portal : Candidates must access the BSNL recruitment website at www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in to initiate the registration process.  

• Prepare Required Documents : Ensure you have your mobile number, email ID, recent passport-size color photograph (20kb-50kb), scanned signature (10kb-20kb), Class 10th certificate, degree certificate, consolidated marksheets, photo identity proof, and relevant reservation/disability certificates ready before starting the application.  

• Complete Online Registration : Fill out the online application form with accurate information and complete the registration process using the OTP sent to your mobile number and email ID.  

• Pay Examination Fee : Submit the required fee of Rs. 2500/- for OC/OBC/EWS candidates or Rs. 1250/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates through online modes only (Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Card) on the BSNL website.  

• Save Registration Form : Take a printout of the computer-generated registration form for your personal records and future reference.  

• Utilize Editing Window : If necessary, use the dedicated 7-day editing window opened after the closing of the registration period to make selective corrections to your application.  

• Download Admit Card : Once released, download your admit card from the registration link using your username and password prior to the examination date.

Selection Process

• Step 1 : Computer-Based Test (CBT) - Candidates must undergo a multiple-choice, objective-type test consisting of a Common Aptitude section and a Core Technical section.

• Step 2 : Normalization of Scores - If the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, a normalization process will be adopted to calculate the final performance scores.

• Step 3 : Document Verification - Candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list must undergo a verification process for their original documents.

• Step 4 : Medical Examination - Shortlisted candidates are required to pass a medical examination based on BSNL's prescribed standards.

• Step 5 : Final Offer of Appointment - A final offer letter will be issued to candidates only after the successful completion of all eligibility and medical formalities.
