How to Apply

  1. Visit the Official Site : Go to jpsc.gov.in.
  2. Locate the Application Link : Click on "Online Application Form for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test 2024 Advt.No.-08/2025" on the homepage.
  3. One-Time Registration (OTR) : Register using a valid email and mobile number to receive your login credentials.
  4. Fill the Application Form : Log in and complete the application form, providing educational and personal details.
  5. Upload Documents : Upload a recent passport-size photograph (10kb–200kb, 80% face visible) and a full signature in black/blue ink (4kb–30kb, JPG format).
  6. Pay the Application Fee : Pay online through the provided gateway.
    • General : ₹575
    • BC-I/BC-II/EWS : ₹300
    • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender : ₹150
  7. Submit and Print : Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Examination Structure : The exam is typically held offline or in a single session, testing both aptitude (Paper I) and subject knowledge (Paper II).
  • Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% marks (for SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II/PwBD/EWS of Jharkhand).
  • Application Process : Interested candidates apply online at jpsc.gov.in.
  • Final Selection : Selection is based on the merit list derived from the written test results, followed by verification of original documents.
  • Validity : The JET certificate holds permanent validity for Assistant Professor appointments in Jharkhand.
