Selection Process
Stage 1 : Online Written Examination
The exam consists of 200 objective-type questions to be completed in 145 minutes. The test is conducted only in English.
  • For CSA & PO (Generalist) : Sections include Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness (Banking focused), Computer Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • For Specialist Officers : The "Computer Knowledge" section is replaced by Professional Knowledge related to the specific domain (IT, Law, CA, etc.).
  • Negative Marking : A penalty of 0.25 marks is deducted for every wrong answer.
Stage 2 : Personal Interview
Candidates who clear the online written exam and meet the sectional cut-offs will be shortlisted for a personal interview.
Stage 3 : Final Selection & Appointment
The final merit list is prepared based on the combined marks of the Online Exam and the Interview. Successful candidates must undergo a Medical Fitness Evaluation and execute an Indemnity Bond (typically ₹1.5 to ₹3 Lakhs) to serve the bank for a minimum of 2 years.
