Educational Qualification & Experience Required

1. Assistant Architect Planner (U.P. Housing and Development Board)

• Essential Qualification :

  • (i) Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification

  • (ii) AND Degree/Diploma in Town and Country Planning/Housing or equivalent qualification.

  • OR

  • Three years of experience in Architecture, Town Planning, or Housing based on an experience certificate issued by the Head of the Institution.

  • OR

  • One-year Post Graduate Diploma in Housing and one year of experience based on an experience certificate issued by the Head of the Institution in Architecture, Town Planning, or Housing.

• Preferential Qualification (Desirable) :

  • Experience in Housing based on an experience certificate issued by the Head of the Institution.

2. Sports Officer (Directorate of Sports, Uttar Pradesh)

• Essential Qualification :

  • 1. Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

  • 2. Diploma in sports coaching from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NIS) Patiala, Bangalore, Kolkata; Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) Gwalior, Trivandrum; or any equivalent institute recognized by the Government of India from time to time (including National Sports University, Imphal).

  • 3. Two years of experience in coaching.

• Preferential Qualification :

  • 1. One year of experience in organizing sports competitions.

  • 2. Diploma or certificate in physical education.

  • 3. Having served for a minimum period of two years in the Territorial Army or obtained a 'B' certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) (given preference other things being equal).

3. Programmer Grade-2 (UPSSSC)

• Essential Qualification :

  • (i) Bachelor's degree from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

  • (ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized Institute/University; OR 'A' level Certificate from the Department of Electronics (D.O.E.), Government of India.

  • (iii) Good knowledge of software development like C/C++, FoxPro, RDBMS such as Oracle/Ingress/Sybase, DB/Z, etc., in DOS/Unix/Windows environments.

  • (iv) Exposure to the environment of any Networking Operating System.

  • (v) Complete knowledge of Office Automation Packages and Internet.

How to Apply?

• Step 1 : One Time Registration (O.T.R.) — Candidates must visit the commission's website ([https://otr.pariksha.nic.in](https://otr.pariksha.nic.in)) to complete their One Time Registration (O.T.R.) and obtain an O.T.R. number at least 72 hours before submitting the online application.

• Step 2 : Accessing the Online Advertisement — Go to the UPPSC website ([https://uppsc.up.nic.in](https://uppsc.up.nic.in)), click on "ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS", locate the desired examination, and click "Apply".

• Step 3 : O.T.R. Authentication (First Stage) — Choose the option to authenticate using your O.T.R. number, enter your O.T.R. number, and complete OTP authentication to automatically fetch your personal details.

• Step 4 : Filling Essential Qualifications (First Stage) — Fill in the required essential educational and qualification details specific to the post you are applying for.

• Step 5 : Submitting Application Details (Second Stage) — On the Applicant Dashboard, click 'Submit Details' under Application Part-2 to review your permanent/correspondence address and choose Yes/No against any preferential qualifications.

• Step 6 : Fee Deposition (Third Stage) — Proceed to the 'Fee Confirmation Window', click 'Yes' to open the SBI MOPS payment gateway, and pay the required application and processing fees via Net Banking, Card, or other modes.

• Step 7 : Saving Payment and Final Application Slips — After successful payment, download and print the Payment Transaction Slip and save a hard copy of your final submitted online application for future reference.

Selection Process

• Step 1 : Written Examination — Candidates must appear for a separate written examination conducted by the Commission for their respective posts (consisting of objective and/or conventional traditional written papers depending on the post structure). Candidates must clear the minimum efficiency/qualifying marks standards set by the Commission.

• Step 2 : Document Verification (DV) — Candidates shortlisted based on their written examination performance are called to present and verify their original certificates, mark sheets, and documents supporting their claims regarding educational qualifications, age, and reservations.

• Step 3 : Medical Examination — Finally recommended candidates must undergo a medical examination as required under the rules of the respective service to ensure physical fitness before final appointment.
