  • For Managers / Executives: In-person Interview

  • For Scientists: Online Interview

• Category C (Project Scientific Assistants) :

  • Written Test + In-person Interview and/or Skill Test/Interaction

• Category D (Project Technical Assistants & Project Executive Assistants A/B):

  • For Technical Assistants: Written Test + In-person Interview and/or Skill Test/Interaction

  • For Executive Assistants: In-person Interview

2. Detailed Breakdown of Selection Stages

• Stage 1 : Screening Based on Minimum Academic Qualification

  • Marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying degree, diploma, ITI, or vocational certificate are evaluated for shortlisting.

  • Candidates generally must secure a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (unless specified otherwise).

• Stage 2 : Written Test (Where Prescribed)

  • May be conducted online through Computer-Based Testing (CBT) or in-person.

  • The syllabus follows the general curriculum of government-run universities/colleges for the respective courses.

  • Candidates must secure 50% marks or above to qualify for consideration in the subsequent stage.

• Stage 3(a) : Online Interview (Where Prescribed)

  • Shortlisting is based on merit from the preceding stage, ordinarily in a ratio of 1:6 or more against advertised vacancies.

• Stage 3(b) : In-Person Interview / Skill Test

  • The in-person interview is mandatory for final selection in applicable categories, ordinarily shortlisted in a ratio of 1:3 or more against vacancies.

  • For Project Scientific and Technical Assistant posts, either an in-person interview or a skill test/interaction will be conducted.

3. Final Selection

• The final selection and recommendations are made by the Selection/Interview Committee based solely on in-person interview and/or skill test/interaction marks (as applicable to the post category), subject to the approval of the Competent Authority.
