1. Trade Apprentice

• ITI Electrician / ITI Fitter / ITI Electronics Mechanic :

  • Required Qualification : ITI Pass Certificate in the respective Trade.

  • Mode : Full-time / Regular.

2. Diploma Apprentice

• Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Civil :

  • Required Qualification : Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government, a University, or an Institute recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma in the respective discipline.

  • Mode : Full-time / Regular.

3. Graduate Apprentice

• Mechanical / Electrical :

  • Required Qualification : Graduate Degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University, an institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament, or passed the graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the Central Government as an equivalent degree in the respective discipline.

  • Mode : Full-time / Regular.

• Human Resource / Finance & Accounts / Contract and Material Management :

  • Required Qualification : Graduate or equivalent in general streams such as BBA, BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc. (other than engineering or technology) granted by a statutory University, an institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament, or passed the graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the Central Government as an equivalent degree.

• Step 1 : Portal Registration (Trade Apprentices) — Register yourself as a candidate on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 (NAPS 2.0) portal at [https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in](https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).

• Step 2 : Portal Registration (Diploma & Graduate Apprentices) — Register yourself on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 (NATS 2.0) portal at [https://www.nats.education.gov.in/](https://www.nats.education.gov.in/).

• Step 3 : Bank Account Linkage — Ensure that your Aadhar card is properly seeded/linked with your bank account.

• Step 4 : Visit NPCIL Careers Website — Go to the official NPCIL website at www.npcilcareers.co.in to access the online application form starting from 29 October, 2026 From 10:00 AM up to 18 November, 2026 Till 04:00 PM.

• Step 5 : Apply via Establishment ID (Trade Apprentices) — Submit your application for Narora Atomic Power Station through Establishment Enrollment Identity No. E05200901473 on the NAPS portal.

• Step 6 : Apply via Establishment ID (Diploma & Graduate Apprentices) — Submit your application for Narora Atomic Power Station through Establishment Enrollment Identity No. NUPBUC093592 on the NATS portal.

• Step 7 : Upload Mandatory Documents — Upload scanned copies of your 10th mark sheet/birth certificate, educational certificates, semester mark sheets, conversion certificates (if CGPA applies), residential proof (if local), caste/income/disability certificates (if applicable), and Aadhaar/PAN cards.

• Step 8 : Upload Photo and Signature — Upload a recent color photograph with a light/white background and your scanned signature.

• Step 9 : Final Submission — Review all entered details carefully and submit the online application form on or before the closing date of 18 November, 2026 Till 04:00 PM.

Selection Process

• Step 1 : Local Area Prioritization — First preference is given to eligible local candidates living within a 16 km radius of the Narora Atomic Power Station (District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh) subject to the fulfillment of reservation criteria.

• Step 2 : Extension to Other Areas — If eligible local candidates as per the stipulated reservation criteria and category-wise distribution are not found, candidates from other areas are considered.

• Step 3 : Percentage-Based Shortlisting — Shortlisting of candidates is carried out based strictly on the percentage of marks obtained in the respective trade or discipline.

• Step 4 : Tie-Breaking (Date of Birth) — In case of a tie in the percentage of marks, the candidate born earlier is placed higher on the merit list.

• Step 5 : Secondary Tie-Breaking (10th Marks) — If the date of birth also ties, candidates with a higher percentage obtained in Matriculation (10th) are ranked higher.

• Step 6 : Document Verification — Shortlisted candidates must present their original certificates, valid caste/income/disability documents, and meet the prescribed physical fitness standards for final engagement.
