How to Apply?

• 1. One-Time Registration (O.T.R.) : Candidates must complete One-Time Registration and obtain an O.T.R. number from the commission's website ([https://otr.pariksha.nic.in](https://otr.pariksha.nic.in)) at least 72 hours before submitting their online application.

• 2. First Stage (Authentication) : Visit the UPPSC website ([https://uppsc.up.nic.in](https://uppsc.up.nic.in)), click on "ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS," select "Apply," choose "Authenticate with O.T.R.," enter your O.T.R. number, and authenticate via O.T.P. or password to auto-populate your personal details.

• 3. Second Stage (Application Details) : On the applicant dashboard, click "Submit Details" under Application Part-2 for the applied post to review your address, application form, and choose Yes/No against preferential qualifications.

• 4. Third Stage (Fee Deposition) : Proceed through the fee confirmation window to the SBI MOPS home page, pay the required category-wise examination and processing fees via Net Banking, Card Payments, or other modes, and save the payment transaction slip.

• 5. Fourth Stage (Final Submission & Print) : View your final completed application form on the screen, take a printout of the application form and keep it safe to produce before the commission when required.

Selection Process

• Stage 1 : Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

  A screening test consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions (General Studies and General Hindi). Candidates numbering roughly 15 times the total vacancies are shortlisted here to appear for the next stage.

• Stage 2 : Main (Written) Examination (Conventional Type)

  A descriptive written examination comprising papers on General Studies, General Hindi and Drafting, General Vocabulary, and Hindi Essay. The final merit list and selection are determined strictly based on the total marks scored in this Main examination.

• Stage 3 : Typing / Skill Test (Post-Specific)

  Applicable specifically for Assistant Review Officer (ARO) and related posts requiring a minimum specified speed (e.g., 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting). This test is qualifying in nature.

• Stage 4 : Document Verification & Medical Examination

  Candidates who qualify through the written and skill rounds must present their original documents and certificates (such as High School date-of-birth proofs, degrees, and category claims) for verification, followed by a mandatory medical fitness examination under the rules.
