How to Apply?

• Step 1 : Verify Eligibility - Ensure you meet all required criteria including age limits, qualifications (3-year Polytechnic Diploma with 60% marks), and reservation norms as of 8th September, 2026.

• Step 2 : Prepare Documents - Keep scanned copies of your recent photograph, signature in black ink on white background, 10th marks card, diploma certificate, all semester/year marks sheets as a single PDF, CGPA conversion formula (if applicable), valid government-issued ID (such as Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, etc.), and relevant category/caste/PwD/experience certificates ready.

• Step 3 : Access Online Portal - Visit the official BEML career page at www.bemlindia.in before 18:00 Hrs on 8th September 2026 to find the online application form.

• Step 4 : Register and Fill Form - Complete the online application using a valid, personal email ID and mobile number that will remain active for at least one year, and note down the generated 'Registration number' for future correspondence.

• Step 5 : Upload Required Documents - Upload all necessary self-attested documents and certificates through the portal to prevent your application from being summarily rejected as incomplete.

• Step 6 : Pay Application Fee - Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- online at the end of the form if you belong to the GEN/EWS/OBC categories (SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempt).

Selection Process

Here is the complete selection process for the non-executive tenure position based on the official notification:   

• Shortlisting for Written Test - Eligible candidates who meet the initial criteria will receive intimation of the test date, time, and venue via email, and the list will also be hosted on the BEML Career page.

• Computer-Based Written Test - Candidates must appear at their own cost for a 2-hour duration Computer-Based Written Test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divided into 3 parts: Part-I (20 General Awareness questions), Part-II (20 English & Reasoning questions), and Part-III (60 concerned Discipline questions) with 1 mark each and no negative marking.

• Qualifying Marks - The pass marks for the written test are fixed at 60%, with a 5% relaxation for candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories.   

• Order of Merit - Selection for the subsequent stage is determined entirely by the marks scored in the Written Test in the order of merit.

• Document Verification - Shortlisted candidates limited to the number of notified positions will be called for Document Verification to scrutinize original certificates, testimonials, and self-attested photocopies.

• Travelling Allowance (TA) - Candidates who qualify for and attend the document verification stage will be reimbursed for travel expenses (such as Sleeper Class/II Class Train fare or Bus fare by the shortest route) upon producing valid proof of travel.

• Pre-Employment Medical Examination - Candidates who successfully clear the document verification process will be issued a Provisional Offer and must undergo a mandatory Pre-Employment Medical Examination without any relaxation in health standards.

• Final Offer of Engagement - A Final Offer of Engagement will be issued based on the satisfactory receipt of a medical report from the company's doctor, along with successful verification of caste (if applicable) and character/antecedents.
