Download Format : Obtain the prescribed application format from Annexure-I of the recruitment advertisement. Fill Application Form : Complete the application form neatly in either English or Hindi. Affix Photograph : Affix a recent self-attested colour passport-size photograph on the designated space of the application form. Attach Documents : Enclose self-attested photocopies of your ${[Aadhaar Omitted]}$ card, educational certificates, category/experience certificates, and NOC (if applicable). Enclose Stamp Envelope : Include a separate blank self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 50/- postal stamp pasted on it. Super-scribe Envelope : Clearly write "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF FOREMAN OF STORES" along with your category on the outer mailing envelope in bold letters. Selection Process
Scrutiny of Applications : All received applications are checked against eligibility criteria and document requirements, and admit cards are issued by post to verified candidates whose lists are also published on the official Indian Coast Guard website. Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates must bring and verify their original documents on the day of the examination, all of which must have been issued on or prior to the closing date of 03 November, 26. Written Examination : Shortlisted candidates undergo a pen-paper based bilingual objective test consisting of 80 questions for 80 marks with no negative marking. Exam Subjects & Pattern : The written exam covers Mathematics (15 questions), Reasoning (15 questions), General Awareness (15 questions), English (15 questions), and Profession-related questions (20 questions) within a 01-hour duration. Passing Marks : The qualifying passing marks are 40 marks for UR/EWS candidates and 36 marks for ST candidates. Exam Centers : The written examination centers are located at New Mangalore and Bhubaneswar (subject to change for administrative or technical reasons). Merit List : The final merit list is prepared strictly based on the marks obtained in the written examination and published on the official website.
