Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification : MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
Registration Requirement : Must possess a Permanent Registration Certificate from the Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) on or before the date of the offline examination (scheduled for 13 December, 2026).
- Note : If the permanent RMC registration certificate is not available at the time of online application, it must be uploaded within 2 days after the date of the examination (by 15 December, 2026).
Working Knowledge : Practical knowledge of written Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs)

Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who obtained their primary medical qualification from outside India must have :

Qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
Obtained a Permanent Registration Certificate from the Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) on or before the exam date.

How to Apply?
Stage 1 - Online Registration : Visit the official RUHS website (`www.ruhsraj.org`) and complete the online registration process, noting your registration ID and password securely. Stage 2 - Detailed Application Form Filling : Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, employment, and responsible officer information, and upload all required documents (such as your MBBS marksheet, degree, photo, signatures, and thumb impressions). Stage 3 - Online Fee Deposition and Final Submission : Pay the non-refundable application fee (Rs. 5000/- for general/other categories or Rs. 2500/- for Rajasthan SC/ST categories) via online payment gateway and take a final printout of the submitted form. Stage - RMC Registration Upload (If Applicable) : If your permanent Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) registration was not available at the time of application, upload it on the RUHS website within 2 days after the date of the offline examination (issued on or before the exam date).
Selection Process
Stage 1 : Online Registration – Candidates must complete the initial registration on the official RUHS website and note their Registration ID and password. Stage 2 : Detailed Application Form Filling – Applicants fill out personal details, educational qualifications, upload required documents (including photo, signature, thumb impressions, and MBBS marksheets), and pay the application fee. Stage 3 : Offline Written Examination (MODRE-2026) – Eligible candidates appear for the 100-question OMR-based offline exam (with no negative marking) scheduled for 13 December, 2026. Stage 4 : Document Verification and RMC Submission – Candidates upload their Permanent Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) registration certificate (if not submitted earlier) within 2 days after the exam, followed by final document verification by the Government of Rajasthan. Stage 5 : Final Selection and Appointment – The Directorate of Medical Health and Family Welfare Services conducts the final recruitment process and issues appointment orders based on eligibility and merit.
