• Check Eligibility Criteria : Verify that you meet all required qualifications, age limits, and post-qualification experience for your desired post before applying.

• Access Online Portal : Visit the Career section of the official RITES website at http://www.rites.com to access the online registration form.

• Register and Save ID : Complete the initial registration details and carefully note down the system-generated "Registration No." shown at the top of the form for future reference.

• Enter Personal Details : Fill in all required information under the "Fill/Modify Application Form" section, ensuring exact detail accuracy for your chosen "Identity Proof".

• Upload Required Documents : Upload clear scanned copies of your DOB proof, educational marksheets/certificates, conversion formulas, category/disability certificates, ID & address proof, PAN card, and a single compiled PDF of experience credentials under the "Upload Document" section.

• Pay Application Fee : Navigate to the "Make Payment" section to pay the non-refundable application fee online (Rs. 600 + taxes for General/OBC; Rs. 300 + taxes for EWS/SC/ST/PWD).

• Submit and Download Form : Complete the final submission, download the generated application form, and retain a printed copy along with the payment invoice for document verification during further selection stages.

Selection Process

• Written Test :

  • There will be 125 objective-type questions carrying one mark each for a duration of 2.5 hours.

  • There is no negative marking, so no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

  • PwBD category candidates are eligible for a compensatory time of 50 minutes. 

  • Candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks for UR/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts) to qualify for further consideration.

• Interview :

  • Candidates will be called for an interview in a 1:6 ratio to the number of vacancies based on their fulfillment of eligibility conditions and written test performance.

  • Candidates have the option to appear for the interview in either Hindi or English.

  • A minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD against reserved posts) is required in the interview to be placed on the panel.

• Parameter Weightage : The final selection parameters are weighted as follows :

  • Written Test : 60%

  • Interview : 40% (Technical & Professional proficiency: 30; Personality, Communication & Competency: 10)

  • Total : 100%

• Document Verification : Candidates must produce educational and experience certificates, which will be verified against original documents at appropriate stages.

• Medical Examination : The appointment of selected candidates is subject to them being found medically fit during a medical examination conducted as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.
