How to Apply?

• 1. Check Eligibility : Ensure you meet the necessary educational, age, and experience requirements before applying.

• 2. Online Registration : Visit the Career Section of the official RITES website at http://www.rites.com to access the online registration format.

• 3. Note Registration Number : Note down the 'Registration No.' generated on top of the online form during submission for all future communication.

• 4. Enter Identity Proof Details : Carefully and correctly fill in your Identity Proof details and ensure you bring the exact same physical ID to later stages.

• 5. Fill and Modify Application : Complete the required details under the "Fill/ Modify Application Form" section.

• 6. Upload Mandatory Documents : Upload all necessary documents in clear, visible scanned copies under the "Upload Document" section, including your high school certificate (DOB proof), academic/professional qualifications, marksing sheets, percentage conversion formula (if applicable), caste/EWS/PwBD certificates, ID/address proof, PAN card, and a single PDF containing chronological experience certificates with pay slips/joining/relieving letters.

• 7. Make Online Payment : Make the online fee payment under the "Make Payment" section (Rs. 300/- plus taxes for General/OBC; Rs. 100/- plus taxes for EWS/SC/ST/PWD) using the specified mode.

• 8. Download Invoice & Application : Ensure your payment invoice is successfully generated and download your final submitted Application Form containing the registration number.

• 9. Email Helpdesk for Issues : Immediately report any fee payment or invoice download failures to cont.rectt@rites.com with your registration details.

• 10. Print and Retain Copies : Print, sign, and retain a copy of your submitted online application along with two filled copies of Annexure A and self-attested photocopies of all required documents to submit during document verification if called.

Selection Process

• 1. Written Test :

  • A 2.5-hour objective-type test consisting of 125 questions carrying 1 mark each.

  • There is no negative marking, so no marks are deducted for incorrect answers.

  • Candidates belonging to the PwBD category are eligible for a compensatory time of 50 minutes.

  • Candidates must secure a minimum qualifying mark of 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts to be eligible for further consideration.

• 2. Document Scrutiny :

  • Based on the written test results and the number of vacancies, shortlisted candidates are called for document verification.   

  • Candidates must present their original educational qualifications, experience certificates, category certificates, identity proof, and other supporting documents for verification.

  • A merit list is prepared strictly using the candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written test and clear the document scrutiny stage.

• 3. Medical Examination :

  • Final appointment is subject to the selected candidates being found medically fit according to RITES Rules and the Standards of Medical Fitness prescribed for the post.
