How to Apply?

Step 1 - Registration on National Portal

• Register on NAPS or NATS : ITI candidates must register on the NAPS website ([https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in](https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in)), while Degree and Diploma engineering candidates must register on the NATS portal ([https://nats.education.gov.in/](https://nats.education.gov.in/)).

• Complete Profile : Fill out your details completely and upload all required educational documents, certificates, and a recent photograph to achieve a 100% updated profile.

Step 2 - Application Submission on BEML Website

• Navigate to BEML Portal : Go to the official BEML recruitment website at [https://recruitment.bemlindia.in](https://recruitment.bemlindia.in).

• Access Application Link : Click on the Apprentices Login/Registration section on the portal.

• Submit Details : Use your NAPS/NATS registration number to complete and submit your online application before 08 September, 2026 (23:00 Hrs).

Selection Process

• Step 1 : NAPS or NATS Portal Registration — Candidates must first register and complete their profile on the NAPS portal (for ITI trades) or the NATS portal (for Engineering Degree/Diploma) to obtain a registration/enrolment number.

• Step 2 : Online Application Submission — Candidates must apply online through the official BEML website ([https://recruitment.bemlindia.in](https://recruitment.bemlindia.in)) under the Apprentices Login/Registration section before the closing date.

• Step 3 : Screening of Applications — BEML screens all submitted online applications against eligibility criteria and prescribed minimum qualifications.

• Step 4 : Category-Wise Merit List Preparation — A provisional merit list is generated category-wise for each trade at each location based on the percentage of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination.

• Step 5 : Shortlisting in 1:5 Ratio — Candidates are shortlisted for document verification in a strict ratio of 1:5 relative to the number of notified training slots.

• Step 6 : Document Verification Process — Shortlisted candidates are communicated via registered email to report for original certificate and document verification (note that no written exam or interview is conducted, and no TA/DA is paid).

• Step 7 : Provisional Merit List & Engagement Offer — Eligible candidates found suitable during document verification receive an Offer of Engagement subject to slot availability, while remaining eligible candidates are placed on a reserved waiting panel (maintained at 5 times the slot strength).

• Step 8 : Contract Acceptance & Medical/Police Clearance — Final engagement is completed once the candidate accepts the tripartite apprenticeship contract on the NATS/NAPS website and submits a physical fitness medical certificate and a police verification certificate.
