How to Apply?

  • Portal Access and Login : Visit the SSO Rajasthan portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in using your credentials.

  • Selecting Recruitment Portal : Navigate to Citizen Apps (G2C) and select the Recruitment Portal.

  • Navigating to the Application : Click on the "Apply Now" link corresponding to the Junior Engineer (JEN) Combined Direct Recruitment - 2026.

  • One-Time Registration (OTR) : If OTR has not been completed previously, fill out your details under the OTR Tab (specifying your category, disability status, and home state) and pay the required fee.

  • Uploading Photo and Signature : Upload a recent photograph (not older than 1 month showing visible body marks) and verify that your live photo, signature, and thumb impression are correctly fetched or uploaded.

  • Filling Application Details : Carefully fill in your educational qualifications, document details, and other mandatory information as specified in the notification.

  • Payment of Fees : Pay the registration/application fee via e-Kiosk, C.S.C., Net Banking, ATM, Debit Card, or Credit Card before the deadline.

  • Final Submission and Printing : Review all entered details thoroughly, click on Final Submit, and take a printout of the application form and Application ID for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Online Application Submission : Register and apply online through the SSO Portal (Recruitment Portal) within the stipulated dates after completing the One-Time Registration (OTR) and paying the required application fee.

  • Written Examination (Competitive Exam) : Appear for the written test comprising multiple-choice questions divided into Part A (General Knowledge of Rajasthan) and Part B (Engineering discipline). The exam is tentatively scheduled for February 2027 and may be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Tablet-Based Test (TBT), or Offline OMR-based test.

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks : Secure at least 40% marks in the written examination, as candidates scoring below this threshold are not eligible for selection/appointment.

  • Document Verification & Eligibility Check : Undergo certificate and document verification where shortlisted candidates must present original academic qualifications, caste certificates, identity proof, and other required documents to the respective departments.

  • Department Allocation (Merit-Cum-Priority) : Receive department placement (Public Works Department, Water Resources Department, or Public Health Engineering Department) based on the candidate's merit rank and preferences filled during the application process.

  • Medical Examination & Character Verification : Clear the medical fitness test and police/character verification to ensure suitability for government service prior to final appointment.
