Selection Process

• Scrutiny and Shortlisting : Applications are scrutinized at the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies level by a committee, and candidates are shortlisted based on merit.

• Preference Criteria : Preference is given to candidates holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Master's Degree, or those who are toppers of a Bachelor's Degree in the prescribed streams.

• Final Authority : The decision of the department regarding the selection process is final and no further correspondence is entertained.

• Taxation Experts Evaluation (100 Marks) : Evaluated through percentage of marks obtained in Chartered Accountant (x 0.60 for up to 60 marks), CA final examination performance/merit (up to 20 marks), relevant experience (up to 10 marks), and experience in Government Departments, PSUs, Boards, Corporations, or Authorities (up to 10 marks).

• Taxation Associates Evaluation (100 Marks) : Evaluated via percentage of marks obtained in MBA/PGDM (x 0.60 for up to 60 marks), institution ranking under NIRF (up to 20 marks), relevant experience (up to 10 marks), and experience in Government Departments, PSUs, Boards, Corporations, or Authorities (up to 10 marks).

• Sanitation Experts/Associates Evaluation (100 Marks) : Evaluated through percentage of marks obtained in the minimum required qualification (x 0.60 for up to 60 marks), valid GATE score (up to 20 marks), relevant experience in solid waste management or environmental science (up to 20 marks), and experience in Government Departments, PSUs, Boards, Corporations, or Authorities (up to 10 marks).
