Online Registration : Visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, click on 'Officer Entry Application/Login', select 'Registration' (if not already registered), and complete the online registration form. Accessing the Application : Log into your dashboard, click on 'Apply Online', navigate to the 'Officers Selection - Eligibility' page, and click 'Apply' next to the 'Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course'. Filling Details : Read the instructions carefully, click 'Continue', and enter your personal, communication, education, and previous SSB details across the segments, clicking 'Save & Continue' after each section. Submitting the Form : Review your information on the 'Summary of your information' page, ensure everything is correct, and click 'Submit' (remember to re-submit every time you edit details prior to closing). Printing Copies : Take two printed copies of your application containing your roll number 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
Selection Process
Application Submission : Candidates must fill and submit their applications online exclusively through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in within the specified window. Application Shortlisting : Shortlisting for the SSB interview is performed using bonus marks awarded out of a maximum of 100 marks based on performance in the NCC 'C' Certificate and graduation aggregate percentage. SSB Centre and Date Selection : Shortlisted candidates must log in to the website to select their available SSB center and date on a first-come, first-served basis. SSB Interview Conduct : Shortlisted candidates undergo a rigorous five-day, two-stage selection process at designated Selection Centers (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar), where candidates failing Stage I are returned on the first day. Medical Examination : Candidates recommended after Stage II of the SSB interview undergo a medical examination at the selection center, with validity lasting up to 270 days. Merit List Preparation : The final merit list is compiled strictly based on the marks secured by candidates during the SSB interview, adhering to notified vacancies and medical fitness. Joining Letter Issuance : Medically fit candidates who successfully make it into the final merit list are issued joining letters to join the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
