• Locate the application link: Navigate to the recruitment section for the 630 Medical Officer (General) posts.

• Fill the online form: Complete the application with accurate details, ensuring you correctly select your category, as it cannot be changed later.

• Pay the application fee: Submit the non-refundable fee online (Rs. 2360 for General/other categories or Rs. 1180 for SC category).

• Submit and print: Finalize your submission before the deadline of August 5, 2026, and keep a copy for your records.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Medical Officer (General) recruitment at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, involves the following steps :

• Step 1 : Online Application – Eligible candidates must apply online through the official university website between July 16, 2026 to August 5, 2026.  

• Step 2 : Written Examination – Candidates are required to appear for a written test (worth 100 marks) conducted by the university.

• Step 3 : Minimum Qualifying Marks – Candidates must score at least 33% in the written test to be considered eligible for the selection process.

• Step 4 : Merit List Preparation – The university will prepare a final merit list (combined as well as category-wise) based on the inter-se-merit of the written examination results.

• Step 5 : Counselling and Verification – Qualified candidates will undergo counselling, which includes the verification of documents, police verification, and checking for any pending disciplinary or criminal proceedings.

• Step 6 : Final Selection – Final appointment is subject to meeting all eligibility criteria, production of required certificates, and adherence to reservation policies.
