How to Apply?

  • Download Brochure: Visit the official website www.ukutet.com, click on DOWNLOAD INFORMATION BROCHURE to read the instructions carefully, and print a blank application format to fill out details beforehand.  

  • Access Application Portal: Go to the official website www.ukutet.com and click on How to Apply Online / New Applicant? (Click here) followed by Register New.  

  • Complete Registration: Read the instructions, accept the terms and conditions by ticking the designated box, click Proceed to Registration, and enter your name, father's name, mobile number, and email ID to generate an OTP.

  • Verify OTP: Enter the OTP received on your mobile or email in the designated field and click Verify OTP to receive your login credentials (registration number and password).

  • Log In to Portal : Use your registration number, password, and captcha code on the Application Login page to access your profile and click Apply for UTET 2026.

  • Fill Application Form : Complete all mandatory fields in English capital letters without special characters, including exam level, personal details, language choices, subject group, eligibility codes, and exam city preferences, then click Save & Next.

  • Upload Scanned Documents : Upload your recent passport-size photograph (5 KB to 100 KB, JPG), signature (2 KB to 50 KB, JPG), and left-thumb impression (10 KB to 150 KB, JPG) using the specified pixel dimensions and click Save & Next.

  • Review Application : Carefully check all filled details and uploaded files on the Preview page, accept the declaration terms at the bottom, and click Save & Next (note that details cannot be modified after this step).

  • Pay Application Fee : Click on Proceed to Payment and pay the requisite examination fee securely online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

  • Print Application Form : After successful fee payment, click on Print Application for U-TET 2026, download and print your final application form along with the fee receipt, and keep them safely for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Admit Card : Registered candidates must download their admit cards from the official website approximately seven days prior to the examination date.

  • Written Examination : Candidates must appear for the offline OMR-based examination comprising 150 multiple-choice questions across two shifts depending on whether they apply for UTET-I, UTET-II, or both.

  • Answer Key & Objections : The board releases a provisional answer key allowing candidates to submit online objections with supporting proof within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Result Declaration : Based on the final evaluated answers, the board publishes the final results and scorecards on its official website, issuing eligibility certificates to successful candidates.
