Punjabi University, Patiala (Punjab) Joint B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed.) - 2026

i) Applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s Degree including a graduation degree in Engineering and Technology (45% in case of SC, ST, BC candidates)

OR

ii) at least 50% marks in the Master’s degree in any stream (45% in case of SC/ST, BC candidates)

(Note : Where ever grades are awarded, the same would be converted into percentage as per rules of the University/Institution awarding the grades)

b) Additional Eligibility Conditions

i). Candidates should have passed Graduation/Post-Graduation in relevant subjects as admission in B.Ed. programme is subject-based. The candidate must have studied such subjects at graduation/post-graduation level based on which he/she would be offered two teaching/pedagogical subjects at the time of admission.

ii). A candidate getting admission based on a post-graduate degree shall have to opt for one of the teaching subjects pursued by him/her at the Master’s level.

How to Apply

To apply for the Punjabi University, Patiala Joint B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed.) 2026, please follow these steps:

• Visit Admission Portal : Access the official website at https://pbbed2026.punjabiuniversity.ac.in.  

• Register Online : Complete the online registration process to generate your Login ID and password.  

• Fill Application : Carefully enter all required details, including your preferred examination centers, college choices, and major subjects.

• Pay Fee : Remit the non-refundable application fee (General: Rs. 3500/-; SC/ST: Rs. 1750/-) online before the July 20, 2026 deadline.  

• Finalize Form : Ensure all information is accurate and the form is completed by the July 20, 2026 deadline, as no changes are permitted after submission.  

• Download Admit Card : Access and download your admit card from the portal starting July 24, 2026.
