  • Visit the Official Website : Go to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

  • Registration : Click on 'Officer Entry Apply/Login' and select 'Registration' if you are a new user.

  • Access Application : Log in to your dashboard and click on 'Apply Online'.

  • Select Course : Locate the 'Short Service Commission Technical Course' and click 'Apply'.

  • Fill Application : Complete the form by entering personal, communication, and educational details, ensuring you 'Save & Continue' after each section.

  • Review and Submit : Carefully verify all entries on the 'Summary of your information' page before clicking 'Submit'.  

  • Print Application : Download and print two copies of your application (which will include your Roll Number) 30 minutes after the application window closes on August 6, 2026.

Selection Process

  • Application Submission : Apply online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

  • Shortlisting of Applications : Applications are shortlisted based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained up to the final semester/year, relative to the vacancy-to-call-up ratio.

  • SSB Interview : Shortlisted candidates undergo a five-day, two-stage Service Selection Board (SSB) interview process.

  • Medical Examination : Recommended candidates from the SSB interview proceed to a medical examination.

  • Merit List : A stream-wise merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the SSB interview.

  • Joining Letter : Candidates who are in the merit list, meet vacancy requirements, and are declared medically fit are issued joining letters.
