How to Apply

• Visit Official Website : Go to the official Indian Army portal at www.indianarmy.nic.in.

• Access Application Link : Navigate to the online application section for form IAF (TA)-9 (Revised) Part-1.

• Register and Fill Details : Provide your accurate personal information, active E-mail ID, and mobile number.

• Select Examination Center : Carefully choose your preferred examination center as requests for changes will not be granted.

• Pay Application Fee : Submit the required fee of Rs 500/- only through the authorized modes listed on the website.

• Submit and Print : Complete the submission process between 20 April, 2026 and 19 May, 2026 and keep a printed copy of the submitted form for your records.

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT) : Candidates must first qualify in the national-level written examination scheduled for 12 July 2026.

• Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview : Successful candidates from the CBT are called for an intelligence and personality test at the Service Selection Board.

• Two-Stage Selection Procedure : The SSB process includes a Stage One screening (Psychological Aptitude and Intelligence Test) followed by a Stage Two test for those who qualify the first stage.

• Final Merit List : Candidates are placed in separate merit lists for males and females based on the total marks secured in both the CBT and the SSB tests.
