How to Apply

• Visit Website : Go to [suspicious link removed] or https://cgssb.cgstate.gov.in.

• Complete Registration : Create/complete your profile registration on the portal if not already done.

• Prepare Documents : Keep scanned photos and signatures in .jpg/.jpeg format (size 50 kb to 100 kb) ready.

• Fill Application : Navigate to the relevant link, fill in the required details accurately, and upload documents.

• Pay Fee : Complete the online payment of the prescribed examination fee.

• Submit & Print : Click the "SUBMIT" button to finalize the application and mandatory print a copy for your records.

Selection Process

• Written Examination : A written exam consisting of 100 objective-type questions will be conducted, where each question carries 1 mark.

• Negative Marking : For incorrect answers or marking more than one option, a negative marking of $1/4$ of the assigned mark will be applied.

• Model Answer & Objections : Following the exam, a model answer key will be released, and candidates may submit evidence-based online objections for a fee of Rs. 50 per question.

• Final Result Declaration : The final answer key will be prepared by subject experts after reviewing objections, and results will be declared based on these final answers and departmental rules.

• No Revaluation : There is no provision for re-counting or re-evaluation of the OMR answer sheets.

• Document Verification & Appointment : The CGSSB's responsibility is limited to conducting the exam and declaring results; document verification, selection, and the appointment process are handled by the respective hiring authority.
