Qualification
(i) Technical Trainee :Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)- Civil / Environmental / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical / ECE / Biomedical Engineering / Water Resources / Remote Sensing / GIS / Hydrology Or Equivalent Qualification(s) (ii) Scientific Trainee : Master's Degree in Science (M.Sc.) Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Science/ Chemistry/ Environmental Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry / Toxicology Or equivalent qualification(s) With First Division on Full Time Regular basis from Recognized University / Institution completed in year 2023 or later. Candidates having qualifying score of GATE/NET- 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 will be preferred. In case of equal GATE/NET Score/ Percentile of multiple candidates, the candidate with higher percentage in qualifying examination shall determine their merit positions.

Selection Process
Primary Merit : Based on qualifying GATE/NET scores from the year 2023 or later. Secondary Merit : If insufficient candidates are available via GATE/NET scores, merit will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (completed in 2023 or later). Final Merit List : The list will be prepared by placing GATE/NET-qualified candidates first in order of merit, followed by candidates based on their qualifying examination marks. Tie-Breaking : In the event of equal GATE/NET scores/percentiles, the candidate with the higher percentage in their qualifying examination will be ranked higher.
