  • Prepare Required Documents : Ensure you have a valid personal email ID, mobile number, scanned signature, and a recent passport-sized photograph (not more than one month old) against a white background ready.

  • Capture Real-Time Photograph : Use a device with an inbuilt or attached web camera to capture and upload a real-time photograph as required during the form-filling process.

  • Fill Application Form : Enter all personal and educational details carefully, ensuring the category and sub-category information is correct, as changes cannot be made after submission.

  • Pay Application Fee : Use the integrated payment gateway to pay the non-refundable application fee via internet banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

  • Submit and Print : Finalize the submission of your application and retain a printed or saved copy for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Online Application & Fee Payment : Candidates must submit their application and pay the required fee exclusively through the official S.S.S.C. website.

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) : Candidates must appear for an online written examination consisting of General Knowledge and English Composition.

  • Written Test Qualification : To qualify, candidates must secure at least 33% marks in each subject and a minimum of 40% aggregate marks; negative marking applies to objective questions.

  • Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) : Qualified candidates are called for a mandatory, qualifying-only test consisting of a Spreadsheet Test and an English typing test at 30 W.P.M.

  • Document Verification & Interaction : Candidates who qualify both the CBT and CPT are called for the verification of their original testimonials and an interaction.

  • Final Merit List : The final select list is prepared based strictly on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the CBT.
