Selection Process
Written Competitive Examination The examination is conducted in two sessions on the same day, with a total of 200 marks available. Format : The test is OMR-based and consists of two papers, each lasting two hours. Language : The medium of the examination is English. Marking : Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. First Paper (Morning Session : 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon) English (up to 12th level) : 40 marks. General Knowledge : 40 marks. Computer Proficiency : 20 marks. Second Paper (Evening Session : 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM) Mathematics (up to 10th level) : 40 marks. Statistics (up to 10th level) : 30 marks. Aptitude (Reasoning Verbal & Non-verbal) : 30 marks. Skill Tests (Qualifying Only) Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be invited for the following skill tests based on the post applied for: Clerk Typing Test : A speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English on a computer is required. Steno-Typist Test : Stenography : Dictation for 10 minutes at a speed of 80 w.p.m.. Transcription : 50 minutes to transcribe the dictation on a computer in English. Final Selection and Document Verification Merit List : Final selection is based on the performance in the written examination, provided the candidate passes the required skill tests. ICT Skill Course : At the time of appointment, you must provide a certificate for an ICT Training Course (CCC) of at least 80 hours from a recognized institution. Document Verification (DV) : Original documents, including educational certificates and reservation category proofs, will be verified after the final results are declared.
