- The candidate will have to obtain a speed of 25 w.p.m. in UPPSC Hindi and English Shorthand Type Test.
- The candidates obtaining a lesser speed shall not be treated as eligible.
- The Candidates obtaining a speed of 25 w.p.m. shall be awarded 10 marks.
- The candidates obtaining more speed 1 extra mark for 5 w.p.m. shall be given but such obtained marks shall not be more than 15 marks.
