  • Shortlisting (if required) : If applications are too large in proportion to the vacancies, shortlisting is conducted in a ratio of 1:25 for every available vacancy in each trade and category.

  • Calculation of Merit : The merit for shortlisting and selection is calculated with equal weightage (50:50) given to marks obtained in Class 10th and the consolidated ITI marks, except for Crane Operator (100% weightage given to Class 10th) and Rigger (100% weightage given to Class 8th).

    • Syllabus : Class 10th standard syllabus for all trades (except Rigger, which follows the 8th standard syllabus).

  • Resolution of Ties : If candidates secure equal marks in the exam, the older candidate (based on Date of Birth) is ranked higher, followed by alphabetical order of the first name if the dates of birth are also identical.

  • Medical Examination : Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate from a Government Hospital as per the Apprentices Rules.

  • Document Verification : Final selection is subject to the verification of original documents uploaded during the online application process.
