  • Visit Official Website : Go to the official PSSSB website at https://sssb.punjab.gov.in and click on the "Apply Online" link.

  • Complete Registration : Click on "Registration" (if you do not have a Login/User ID), fill in your details to generate your User ID (which will be your Email ID) and Password, and then log in.

  • Fill Application Form : Enter your personal, educational, and required details accurately.

  • Upload Photo and Signature : Upload a scanned copy of your signature and either upload a passport-size photo or capture a live photo using your camera.

  • Attach Annexures/Documents : Click on "Attach Annexure" to upload scanned PDF copies of your 10th-grade certificate, educational qualification certificates, and other mandatory documents, then click "Save Documents".

  • Pay Application Fee : Click on "Make payment" to pay the required application fee online (Rs. 1,500 for All Other Categories and Rs. 750 for Scheduled Castes of Punjab State only).

  • Submit and Print Form : Click "Submit" to complete the application process and take a printout of the final application form for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Written Examination : Eligible candidates will have to appear for an Objective Type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) written examination, which includes negative marking (1 mark for correct answers and 0.25 marks deducted for wrong answers).

  • Merit List Preparation : A merit list of candidates will be prepared strictly based on the marks obtained in the written examination, with tie-breaking rules based on age, qualifying degree marks, and matriculation marks.

  • Document Verification / Counseling : Candidates shortlisted from the merit list will be called for category-wise counseling for the verification of original documents, certificates, and eligibility criteria.

  • Final Recommendation : Final recommendation of eligible candidates for appointment to their respective departments will be made by the Board upon successfully proving all eligibility requirements during counseling.
