How to Apply?

• Access Official Website : Go to the official online application portal at https://punjabassembly.gov.in/public/jobs.

• Select Advertisement : Locate Advt. No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of Group D posts and click on the Apply button.

• Fill Basic Details : Enter your name, parents' names, date of birth, gender, marital status, valid email ID, and mobile number.

• Verify Mobile Number : Click Get OTP, enter the verification code received on your mobile, and click Verify OTP.

• Upload Photos and Signatures : Browse and upload a recent passport-size color photograph and your scanned signature drawn with a black/blue ink pen on white paper (both under 2 MB in JPG/JPEG format.

• Complete Sections : Provide your contact details, category information, educational qualifications, domicile status, nationality, disability status, and Punjabi proficiency verification documents.

• Submit Declarations : Answer the criminal proceedings and government service details declarations, type the exact case-sensitive captcha code, select the declaration checkbox, and click Preview & Submit.

• Review and Confirm : Check all entered details in the preview screen, click Edit to make changes if necessary, or click Confirm & Submit if everything is correct.

• Proceed to Payment : Click on Pay Now on the payment preview screen to open the payment gateway.

• Complete Online Payment : Select your preferred online payment mode (such as UPI by scanning the QR code or bank options) and complete the required fee transaction.

• Print Application Form : Once the fee is successfully paid, log back in to download and print your submitted application form and receipt for future reference.

Selection Process

• Punjabi Qualification Test : Candidates may be required to clear a Punjabi language test to check basic proficiency.

• Written Test : Eligible candidates may undergo a written examination covering general knowledge and basic aptitude.

• Skilled Test-cum-Interview : Shortlisted candidates must appear for a skilled test and/or interview process.

• Document Verification : Final candidates must produce original educational certificates, age proof, and category documents.

• Medical Examination : Selected candidates undergo medical fitness assessment to confirm eligibility for employment.
