Official Website Visit : Navigate to the official HPBOSE website at www.hpbose.org, click on the "CET/Vacancy" option, and select the link titled "HP TET November-2026". Aadhaar Input : Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the designated box on the application form. Subject Selection : Carefully choose your relevant teaching subject category such as TGT (Arts, Medical, Non-Medical), JBT, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu, or Special Educator. Basic Details Entry : Enter your personal particulars including candidate name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth strictly in CAPITAL LETTERS and exactly as recorded in your Matriculation certificate. Category and Sub-category Selection : Select your primary category (GEN, SC, ST, or OBC) along with any applicable beneficial sub-category (such as PHH, BPL/IRDP, Ex-Servicemen, WFF, or Sports) and provide certificate details if claiming fee concessions. Contact Information : Provide your own working 10-digit mobile number and a valid active email ID which must remain functional throughout the entire selection process. Additional Personal Details : Fill in remaining demographic fields including gender, appearing status, nationality, complete correspondence and permanent address in capital letters with pin code, bonafide Himachali status, and revenue sub-division code. Examination Center Preferences : Select your preferred District and Revenue Sub-Division for the examination center from the available list of codes provided in the prospectus. Image Uploads : Upload scanned images of your photograph (in JPG format, less than 20 KB, dimensions 3.5 cm width by 4.5 cm height) and signature (in JPG format, less than 15 KB, dimensions 3.5 cm length by 1.5 cm height). Fee Payment : Remit the required application fee online through the payment gateway using net banking, debit card, or credit card. Final Declaration and Printout : Check all entered particulars, tick the mandatory declaration box, submit the form to automatically generate an application number, and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Selection Process |
Application Submission : Candidates must submit their applications exclusively online through the official website (www.hpbose.org) within the stipulated schedule. Provisional Candidature : The Board does not undertake a detailed scrutiny of applications at the written examination stage, so all applications are accepted provisionally. Admit Card Generation : Eligible candidates who complete their applications on time can download their admit cards from the Board's website 4 days prior to the exam. Examination Conduct : Candidates must appear for the written test at their own cost on the date, shift, and time indicated on their Admit Card, carrying a valid photo ID (such as an Aadhar Card) and a simple transparent blue/black ballpoint pen. OMR Evaluation : Answer scripts are evaluated through a fully computerized Optical Mark Reader (OMR) system, and there is no provision for re-evaluation, re-checking, or re-counting of marks. Passing Criteria and Qualifying Marks : General category candidates must secure a minimum of 60% (90 marks out of 150), while candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PHH categories are granted a 5% relaxation, requiring 55% (82 marks out of 150) to qualify. No separate merit list or cut-off list is prepared by the Board. Digital Certificates : Mark sheets for all present candidates and eligibility certificates for successful candidates are issued digitally through DigiLocker within one week of result declaration. Final Verification : Qualifying the TET does not automatically guarantee appointment. Eligibility is verified independently by the concerned recruiting agency or appointing authority during counseling or screening according to relevant Recruitment and Promotion (R&P) rules.
