How to Apply?
Official Website Visit : Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission at www.upessc.up.gov.in. One Time Registration (OTR) : Complete the mandatory One Time Registration (OTR) process before proceeding with the application. Read User Manual: Refer to the available Hindi or English user manuals and tutorial videos on the portal to understand the process. Fill Application Form : Provide accurate details during registration and application, as changes to category, sub-category, date of birth, or gender are not permitted after final submission. Upload Documents : Scan and upload your photograph (30 KB to 300 KB, 300 to 600 Pixel Resolution), signature (10 KB to 200 KB, 140x110 Pixel Resolution), and required certificates in PDF format (50 KB to 500 KB). Pay Examination Fee : Submit the required application fee of ₹3,000.00 using credit cards, debit cards, or net banking through the online payment gateway. Final Submission & Printout : Submit the online application completely before the deadline and save three printed copies of the final form for future documentation and interview verification.
Selection Process
Registration and Application : Candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) and submit their online application through the official website (`www.upessc.up.gov.in`) by 20.08.2026. Written Examination: Eligible candidates will appear for a 360-mark written examination based on 120 objective-type multiple choice questions (carrying 3 marks for each correct answer and a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer). Research Score (API) Evaluation : Candidates must acquire a minimum of 110 research score points as per Table-2 to be considered eligible for the post. Interview Stage : Candidates shortlisted based on their written examination performance will be called for a 40-mark interview, during which they must submit college preference forms and self-attested documents.
