  2. Pay the requisite application fee online first (if not exempted), as the transaction reference number is needed while filling the form.
  3. Register and fill in the online application form with personal, educational, and post-related details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of the required documents, photograph, and signature.
  5. Submit the online application before 15.09.2026 (3:00 PM IST) and save the completed form as a PDF.
  6. Email the saved PDF application (single file, renamed as "Post Code_Application No.") along with supporting documents to recruit.staff@saha.ac.in, mentioning the candidate's name and post name in the subject line, before 18.09.2026 (3:00 PM IST).
  7. Candidates applying through proper channel or for the Deputation post must additionally send a hard copy/printout of the submitted application, duly signed, to The Registrar, Registrar's Office, Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, 1/AF, Bidhannagar, Kolkata-700064, by 28.09.2026.
  8. Keep a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Scientist 'C' (all posts) : Interview; a qualifying-nature written test may also be conducted. Final merit list is prepared from Interview marks only.
  • Scientific Assistant 'B' and Technician 'B' (all posts) : Phase I - Written Test (qualifying); Phase II - Trade Test. Final merit list is prepared from Trade Test marks only.
  • Assistant Administrative Officer-I : Written exam and perusal of APAR.
  • Lower Division Clerk : Phase I - Written Test; Phase II - Typing Skill Test (qualifying). Final merit list is prepared from Written Test marks only, among candidates who qualify Phase II.
  • Security Guard A : Phase I - Physical Fitness Test (qualifying); Phase II - Written Test. Final merit list is prepared from Written Test marks only.
  • Work Assistant 'A' : MCQ-based Written Test. Merit list prepared from Written Test marks.
  • Halwai-cum-Cook : Phase I - Written Test (qualifying); Phase II - Cooking Skill Test. Final merit list prepared from Skill Test marks only.
