How to Apply

• Step I : Registration and Application on NAPS/NATS Portal

  • Register on the correct portal : For codes 101, 102, 108, 109, 110, and 111, register at the NAPS portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/); for codes 104, 105, 106, and 107, register at the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/).

  • Apply for the opportunity : Log in to your respective portal, search for "IOCL, Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex," and apply for your desired trade using the specific Establishment ID (NATS: NHRPPC000003; NAPS: E10150600035).

  • Verify profile details : Ensure all personal and educational details, including your aggregate percentage, are 100% accurate before final submission.

• Step II : Submission of Additional Details

  • Submit Microsoft Form : After applying on the NAPS/NATS portal, you must mandatorily visit www.iocl.com to click the link for "Click here to submit additional information on Microsoft Forms" and complete the required details.

  • Ensure consistency : Confirm that all information (such as Registration/Enrollment numbers) in the Microsoft Form matches exactly with the details provided in your NAPS/NATS application.

Selection Process

• Merit-Based Shortlisting : Candidates are selected based on the descending order of percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.

• Tie-Breaking Criteria : In case of a tie, the candidate who is senior by age is ranked higher; if the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in Matriculation is considered.

• Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates are called to verify original documents, including educational certificates, proof of age, and category certificates.

• Medical Examination : Candidates must fulfill the minimum physical fitness standards specified in the Apprentices Act through a pre-engagement medical examination.

• Offer of Engagement : Final candidates who successfully pass the document verification and medical examination are issued an offer of engagement.
