  • Access Notification : Locate and carefully read the "Recruitment Rulebook" for the 2025 Subedar/ASI (Ministerial) examination to understand all eligibility and documentation requirements.

  • Fill Online Application : Complete the online application form by providing accurate personal, educational, and required category details.

  • Upload Documents : Scan and upload necessary documents, including a color photograph, signature, handwritten declaration, educational marksheets (8th/10th/12th), category certificates (if applicable), and disability/EWS certificates (if applicable).

  • Pay Examination Fee : Pay the required application fee online through credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

  • Alternative Payment Method : If online facilities are unavailable, visit an authorized MP Online Kiosk to pay the fee and submit the application.

Selection Process

  • First Phase (Online Exam) : This is a computer-based objective-type (MCQ) written examination conducted by the MP Employees Selection Board (ESB).

    • Exam Structure : The exam consists of 100 questions to be completed in 2 hours.

    • Marking Scheme : Each correct answer carries +1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers or unattempted questions.

    • Content : The paper includes General Knowledge & Logical Knowledge (40 marks), Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude (30 marks), and Science & Simple Arithmetic (30 marks).

  • Shortlisting for Second Phase : Based on the cutoff percentile from the first phase, candidates (seven times the number of vacant posts for vertical categories) are selected for the second phase.

  • Second Phase (Document Verification & Practical Exam) : This phase is conducted by the Police Department.

    • Document Verification : Candidates must present all original documents for verification. Failure to be found eligible during this verification leads to disqualification, even if the candidate passed the first phase.

    • Practical Exam : This includes specific skill tests (e.g., Hindi Shorthand dictation and typing for Stenographers).

  • Final Selection : The final merit list is prepared based on the total marks obtained in both the written exam and the practical/skill examCandidates are then allocated to cadres based on their merit, stated preferences, and the availability of posts.
