• Trade Apprentice : 10th Passed, ITI in Related Trade.
• Graduate Apprentice : B.Tech Degree in Related Stream.
• Technician Apprentice : Diploma in Related Engineering Field.
• Paramedical Apprentices : Degree / Diploma in Related Field.
• Note : Only such candidates are eligible who have passed their respective qualification from any institute which is situated in Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh.

How to Apply

• Portal Enrollment : Register and enroll on the National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in for Graduate/Diploma positions or the National Apprentice Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for Trade Apprentice positions.  

• Generate ID : Successfully complete your registration on the respective portal to generate your unique Enrolment ID.  

• Access Application : Visit the NAPS or NATS portal, search for the NCL apprentice opportunities, and proceed to the online application form.  

• Fill Details : Enter all required information, including your NATS/NAPS registration reference, personal details, and academic qualifications as per your 10th-grade and qualifying degree/diploma/ITI certificates.  

• Upload Documents : Upload the necessary scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the format and size specified on the portal.  

• Final Submission : Verify all entered data for accuracy, submit the application, and save or print a hard/soft copy for your future reference. 

Selection Process

• Application Submission : Candidates must apply online through the NATS or NAPS portals by the specified deadline.  

• Merit List Preparation : NCL ranks candidates based on qualifying examination marks or the average of matriculation and trade certificate marks.  

• Provisional Shortlisting : Candidates are shortlisted based on the drawn merit list to undergo scrutiny of their original documents.  

• Document Scrutiny : Shortlisted candidates must report with all original certificates to verify their eligibility as declared in the application.  

• Medical Fitness Test : Candidates must obtain a fitness certificate from a government hospital official (at least Assistant Civil Surgeon rank) per Mines Rules, 1955.  

• Contract Generation : Once cleared, the apprenticeship contract is generated through the NATS/NAPS portal and must be accepted by the candidate.
