• Passed / Appearing 12th Class From any Recognized Board in India.

• Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• 60 Minutes Duration for Each Test Paper

• 50 Questions for Each Test Papers. All Question are Compulsory.

• 05 Marks For Every Correct Answer

• Yes (1/5th Marks) For Each Incorrect Answer

• 37 (13 Indian Languages + 23 Domain-Specific Subjects + 01 General
  Aptitude Test).

• Candidates May Choose Upto a Maximum of Five (05) Subjects Including Languages and General Aptitude Test irrespective of the Subjects Opted in Class XII.

• 13 Indian languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu)

• Section 1 – Language {Language to be Tested through Reading Comprehension (Based on Different Types of Passages–Factual, Literary, and Narrative), Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary}.
• Section 2 – Domain Subject (As Per NCERT Syllabus).
• Section 3 – General Aptitude Test (General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple Application of Basic Mathematical Concepts Arithmetic / Algebra Geometry / Mensuration / Statistics), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

How to Apply

• Visit the Official Website : Go to https://cuet.nta.nic.in to access the application portal.  

• Complete Registration : Click on the registration link, provide your personal details, create a password, and choose a security question to generate a system-generated Application Number.  

• Fill Application Form : Log in using your Application Number and password to fill in your personal, educational, and program details, and select your examination cities.  

• Upload Documents : Upload your live/scanned photograph, signature, and necessary certificates (like disability/UDID) in the specified formats and sizes.  

• Pay Examination Fees : Submit the required fees via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI; note that fees are based on the number of subjects selected.  

• Generate Confirmation Page : Once the payment is successful, download, save, and print the Confirmation Page for your records.
