How to Apply

1. Visit the Official Portal : Go to www.rbi.org.in.

2. Navigate to Opportunities : Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click on "Opportunities@RBI".

3. Find the Job Link : Under the "Current Vacancies" tab, click on "Vacancies" and look for the link titled "Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) - Panel Year 2026".

4. New Registration : Click on "Click here for New Registration". Enter your basic details (Name, Mobile Number, and Email). A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent to you.

5. Fill the Application : Log in with your credentials and complete the following sections:

   • Personal Details : Address, category, and zone preferences.

   • Educational Qualifications : Diploma or Degree details.

   • Experience : Details of post-qualification work experience.

6. Upload Documents : You will need scanned copies of:

   • Passport-sized photograph and Signature.

   • Left thumb impression.

   • A handwritten declaration (text provided in the official notification).

7. Payment of Fees : Pay the application fee online using a Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.

   • General/OBC/EWS : ₹450 + GST

   • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen : ₹50 + GST

8. Final Submission: Review your application carefully and click "Complete Registration." Print the final application form for your records.

Selection Process

• Online Examination
  • Candidates must first pass a nationwide objective-type online test worth 300 marks, covering General Intelligence, Reasoning, English Language, and specific Engineering Discipline papers.
• Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
  • Shortlisted candidates from the online exam undergo a test to verify their proficiency in the local language of the recruitment zone they applied for; this stage is qualifying in nature.
• Document Verification
  • Successful candidates are called to verify their original academic certificates, experience letters, and category documents to ensure they meet all eligibility criteria.
• Medical Examination
  • The final step involves a mandatory medical fitness assessment conducted by RBI-approved centers to confirm the candidate's suitability for the role.
