Visit Official Website : Access the application portal at www.psc.cg.gov.in. Candidate Registration : Click on the registration link to enter personal details, verify via OTP, capture a live photo, and upload your signature. Log In & Apply : Log in using your registration ID/password and click the 'Apply' button for the CG Police (Subedar, Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander) 2024 post. Fill Application : Provide all required information accurately and submit the form. Pay Fee : Complete the portal fee payment through the available online options (Credit/Debit card, UPI, etc.). Print Receipt : Download and print your application form and payment receipt for future reference.
Selection Process
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) : Candidates must meet the specified minimum height and chest measurement standards. Preliminary Written Examination: A 300-mark OMR-based objective type test covering General Studies; only candidates qualifying here (up to 20 times the number of vacancies) proceed. Main Written Examination (First Stage) : Mandatory subjects include Hindi & English (200 marks), General Knowledge & Studies (200 marks), and Aptitude Test (200 marks); specific posts have additional mandatory papers. Preparation of Merit Lists : Three separate merit lists (based on Main Exam scores) are prepared to call candidates—five times the number of vacancies—for the next stage. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : A qualifying stage (300 marks) involving events like long jump, high jump, shot put, 100m run, and 1500m run; candidates must secure at least 30% marks to qualify. Interview (Second Stage) : A 100-mark interview for candidates who have qualified the Physical Efficiency Test. Bonus Marks : Candidates with proficiency in sports at the national/international level are eligible for 10 bonus marks. Final Merit List : The final selection is based on a consolidated merit list determined by the total marks obtained in the Main Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, and Interview, considered in decreasing order of age.
