Online Application Process (General Steps for Both Sessions)
Visit the Official Website : Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in. New Registration : Click on "New Registration" and read instructions carefully. Generate Credentials : Provide basic details (name, DOB, contact) to get an Application Number and Password. Login & Fill Form : Use credentials to log in and fill personal, academic (Class 10/12), and exam preference details (Paper Type, City). Upload Documents : Upload scanned photo, signature, and necessary certificates (Category/PwD). Live Photo Capture : Use webcam or QR code for live photo, plus upload a scanned image. Pay Fee : Pay the application fee online via available methods (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking). Review & Submit : Double-check everything and submit the form. Print Confirmation : Download and print the confirmation page and fee receipt.
Exam & Selection Process
Format : Computer-Based Test (CBT). Papers : Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning). Scoring : Based on performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Result : Scorecards with Percentile scores are released. Admission : JEE Main Score : For NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and State colleges.
