Tiger Shroff firing case: conspiracy allegedly planned for 25 days, shooters paid Rs 1.50 lakh – fresh updates
The Tiger Shroff firing conspiracy allegedly spanned 25 days, with Anil Pandit paying ₹1.50 lakh to shooters. Sources claim Salman Khan was the original target before security concerns altered plans.
The investigation into the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has reportedly revealed that the alleged conspiracy to target the actor had been in the making for nearly 25 days. According to sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch, the main conspirator, Anil Pandit, allegedly paid Rs 1.50 lakh to the three accused shooters to carry out the attack. The incident took place outside a football club in Mumbai’s Juhu area, where the attackers allegedly fired multiple rounds at the actor’s BMW. The shooting triggered a major investigation, with police subsequently tracking down and arresting the accused in connection with the case. Sources have also revealed Salman Khan was allegedly the original target, but tight security at his residence forced the accused to change their plans.
According to sources to Times Now, two of the accused shooters, Phool Singh and Rehan Raisuddin Ansari, who hail from Haryana, arrived in Mumbai around 20 days before the Tiger Shroff firing incident, allegedly on Anil Pandit’s instructions. Investigators suspect that the accused conducted reconnaissance of Tiger Shroff’s residence and the football ground he frequented in Juhu on five occasions over the past 20 days.
Sources further claim that the two shooters moved between four to five hotels in Andheri East during their stay in Mumbai. The frequent changes in accommodation were allegedly part of an attempt to avoid suspicion and prevent the police or members of the public from tracking their movements. The third accused, Hrithik, allegedly assisted the shooters with logistics while they were in Mumbai. He was reportedly staying in a rented room in Andheri East.
Rs 1.50 Lakh Allegedly Paid To Shooters
Investigators are also examining the alleged financial arrangements behind the attack. According to sources, Anil Pandit provided Rs 1.50 lakh to the three accused to execute the plan. Of this amount, Rs 25,000 was reportedly used to purchase a motorcycle, while the remaining money was allegedly divided among the accused.
Sources claim that Pandit had also promised the accused a substantial amount of money and well-paying jobs abroad if they successfully carried out the attack. Investigators suspect that the promise of financial rewards may have played a role in persuading the accused to participate in the alleged conspiracy.
Phool Singh and Rehan, who reportedly worked as daily-wage labourers, were allegedly drawn into the plot by exploiting their financial difficulties. However, the circumstances surrounding their recruitment and the precise roles played by each accused remain part of the ongoing investigation.
Crime Branch Probes Money Trail
The Mumbai Crime Branch is now attempting to establish how the money allegedly arranged by Anil Pandit reached the three accused through his network in Mumbai. Investigators are also examining the alleged movement of the accused, their accommodation arrangements and the preparations made before the shooting.
The investigation is expected to focus on establishing the sequence of events, identifying the individuals involved in facilitating the alleged conspiracy and determining the motive behind the attack on Tiger Shroff. The allegations against the accused are subject to the ongoing investigation and judicial proceedings.
