How to Apply?

• Online Application Portal Access : Access the online recruitment portal on the official LPSC website between 14:00 hrs on 18.08.2026 and 14:00 hrs on 04 September, 2026.

• Form Submission : Fill out the online application form completely with all necessary details and mandatory documents.

• Photograph Upload : Upload a clear passport-size photograph in JPG/JPEG format (maximum file size 40 KB, resolution between 95 and 100 pixels, with a white/light background and visible face/eyes).

• Registration Number Generation : Note down and securely save the unique online registration number provided upon successful registration.

• Application Fee Payment : Pay the applicable application fee online immediately or use the "Make payment" option on the portal up to 14:00 hrs on 07 September, 2026.

• Fee Refund Certificate Upload : Upload required category certificates (such as SC, ST, Disability, or Ex-Servicemen) on the portal if claiming a fee refund, noting that female candidates of other categories do not need to upload certificates for this purpose.

• No Hard Copy Submission : Ensure no printouts, certificates, or payment receipts are sent by post to LPSC, as physical documents are not required upon registration.

Selection Process

For Post Nos. 813, 814, 815, 816 & 817 (Technical Assistant, Technician 'B', Draughtsman 'B') :

• Written Test : A 90-minute examination consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions (carrying 1 mark each with a negative marking of 0.33 for every wrong answer) designed to test the theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate.

• Skill Test : Candidates are shortlisted based on their written test performance in a 1:5 ratio (with a minimum of 10 candidates). This test is conducted purely on a 'go-no-go' basis, and its marks are not considered for final selection.

• Final Selection : The final panel is prepared purely in the order of marks scored in the Written Test from among the candidates who qualify the skill test (with academic scores of the notified qualification serving as the tie-breaker).

For Post No. 802 (Fireman 'A') :

• Preliminary Medical Examination (PME) : Applicants must submit a PME certificate in the prescribed format issued by a registered medical practitioner (not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon/equivalent in government health services) along with their application.

• Written Test : An initial 120-minute examination consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions (carrying 1 mark each with a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer) based on basic chemistry, mathematics, properties of gases/water, and general knowledge.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : Candidates meeting the PME norms are shortlisted based on written test marks in a maximum 1:50 ratio to undergo Stage-1 and Stage-2 PET events on a 'go-no-go' basis.

• Detailed Medical Examination (DME) : Candidates who successfully pass both stages of the PET must undergo a DME.

• Final Selection : The final selection panel is drawn in the order of marks scored in the Written Test from among the candidates who successfully qualify the DME.
