How to Apply

  • Visit Website : Navigate to the official Indian Navy recruitment website at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

  • Register/Login : Create a new account or log in to your existing profile to access the application portal.

  • Prepare Documents : Keep original documents (mark sheets, DOB proof, degree certificates, NCC 'C' certificate, etc.) ready for reference.

  • Scan Documents : Scan all required documents in original JPG/TIFF format to ensure they are clear and legible.

  • Fill Application : Enter personal details accurately (as per your Matriculation Certificate) and upload the scanned documents.

  • Submit Application : Review all information carefully before clicking submit, as changes cannot be made after final submission.

  • Print Copy : Download and print a copy of your submitted application to carry with you when appearing for the SSB interview.

Selection Process

  • Application Shortlisting : Initial selection is based on the normalised marks obtained in the qualifying degree (marks up to the 5th semester for BE/B.Tech, or all semesters for PG degrees).

  • SSB Interview : Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email or SMS to undergo the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview, and changing the scheduled center is not permitted.

  • Medical Examination : Recommended candidates from the SSB interview must undergo a medical examination at designated centers, and changes to the medical center are not allowed.

  • Merit List Preparation : The final merit list is compiled based on the marks obtained during the SSB interview, subject to the candidate being declared medically fit and vacancy availability.

  • Final Induction : Candidates in the final merit list must submit proof of completing their qualifying degree with at least 60% marks before joining the Indian Naval Academy (INA).
