How to Apply

  • Visit the Official Portal : Go to the ABVMU official website.

  • Locate the Entrance Test Link : Navigate to the "Admission" or "Common Allied & Healthcare Entrance Test (CAHET)" section.  

  • New Registration : Click on the registration link, enter your basic details (Name, Father’s/Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Email, and Mobile Number), and submit to receive your registration credentials.

  • Login & Fee Payment : Log in using your generated ID and password, change the password as prompted, and pay the application fee online (via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI).  

  • Fill Application Form : Complete the detailed form with personal information, educational qualifications, and preferred exam center cities.

  • Upload Documents : Upload the required scanned documents, including a passport-sized photograph, signature, and the mandatory verification sheet proforma.

  • Final Submission : Review all entered details for accuracy and submit the application; ensure you download or print the final confirmation page for your records.

Selection Process

  • Merit/Entrance Evaluation : For Bachelor’s courses, candidates are selected based on merit calculated from Class 12 scores (using Z-score normalization for different boards); for Master’s courses, selection is based on the performance in the specific CAHET entrance examination.

  • Merit List Publication : The university prepares and publishes a common rank list and category-wise merit list based on the criteria mentioned above.  

  • Counselling Registration : Qualified candidates must register for the online counselling process by paying the non-refundable registration fee and the refundable security deposit.  

  • Choice Filling & Locking : Candidates select their preferred colleges and courses from the available seat matrix and must lock their choices within the specified deadlines.

  • Seat Allotment : The university conducts seat allotment rounds based on the candidate's merit rank and their filled preferences.

  • Acceptance & Fee Payment : Allotted candidates must log in to the portal to accept the seat (Freeze/Float/Decline) and pay the mandatory seat confirmation fee.  

  • Reporting & Document Verification : Candidates must report in person to their allotted college with original documents and their provisional allotment letter for final verification and admission completion.
