Selection Process

  • Application Submission : After you submit your online application through the Samarth Portal, the university compiles the data of all eligible applicants.

  • Merit List Preparation : The university prepares a merit list based on the marks secured by candidates in their 10+2 examinations. This list is typically prepared by category (General, BC, EBC, EWS, SC, ST) and in accordance with reservation policies.

  • Publication of Merit Lists : The university releases multiple merit lists (1st, 2nd, etc.) on the official admission portal. You will need to log in to your student dashboard to check your status.

  • Seat Allotment : If your name appears on a merit list, you are allotted a seat in one of your preferred colleges/subjects based on your rank and the availability of seats.

  • Document Verification : Once a seat is allotted, you must report to the respective college for physical document verification. You will be required to bring the original documents (Mark sheets, Caste/Category certificates, School Leaving Certificate, etc.) that you uploaded during the online application process.

  • Admission Confirmation : After successful verification, you will pay the admission fee at the college to confirm your seat.

  • Subsequent Merit Lists : If seats remain vacant after the first round, the university will release subsequent merit lists (often called "Spot Admission" or "Waitlist" rounds) to fill the remaining seats.
